…and not the selling kind.
I’ve been training for my 3rd half marathon and, as always, learning more and more through the process.
The 2nd half marathon I think I got a little cocky, like ‘hey, i’ve done this once, I’m ALL OVER this again”. But it was tough. Really tough. And the training was sporadic. And not really consistent.
So, this time, I dedicated myself to heading out to the Running Room to keep me motivated. And for the most part it’s working. Except, of course, that I’m learning about why I loved running in the first place.
It became meditative. My alone time. My time to just be with me and my thoughts.
Well, when you work from a home office BY YOURSELF alone time is NOT exactly what you’re looking for.
So, that’s changed my running motivation but it hasn’t made me want to stop.
The Victoria Marathon is around the corner and I’m feeling confident yet prepared.
Third time’s a charm, as they say.
